He thinks he has it bad. Try boys that can’t have a regular haircut, or girls that have to have highlights.
I was a little late getting the boys to the barber and you would have thought that I killed someone. He ranted and raved and said the next time we were late, I needed find a new barber. I kept my mouth shut, figuring that since he was cutting the boys’ hair that he was through. But, as I paid two hundred plus dollars and was going to give a tip, he just had to open his mouth and start again. I calmly said, “Hey! No problem, we’ll never be late again.” He smugly said, “See that you don’t.”
I stopped at the door and turned around. I gave him a big smile and said, “I will see that I don’t, because we’ll never be here again”. We found a new barber and the boys really like her. She isn’t as high, because she’s trying to build a customer base. A few days ago, the old barber called and begged us to come back. It seems that the other customers who were there, waiting for a haircut, stopped going to the shop and told their friends. It couldn’t have happened to a nicer person.
Oh sure, you can’t cut costs, Abby, but Len absolutely has to. Especially as like Len, I kinda doubt he’s spending an equal amount of money in these boys’ outings as she is at the salon.
Really, they both should try to cut back both of their expenses, at which point they might find a more workable compromise. But I guess Abby is too vain to try that now.
The writers for the TV series the neighborhood used this storyline this week, only Gemma dyed her hair orange .. her roots were terrible, Dave could not make coffee to save his life so he was had no choice but to order $7.00 coffee’s

Now you know how it feels, Len. No fun. But if you really buckle down maybe it’ll only be for a few weeks…
