As a cartoon teenage boy, he can never be satiated, everything he eats falls into the third dimension.

That may hold him until dinner time, or until Tia has time to go to the mercado and restock.

When my brother and I were in high school we would go through a gallon of milk as part of our snack when we got home. Fortunately we lived on base so the commissary was not that far.

Baldo met Dagwood and was Inspired by the Sandwich.

BTW, how many people knew that there was once a Sandwich shop chain named after Dagwood? Over the years, several attempts have been made by various people, but none ever survived long term.

When I was just out of high School, one of my older friends said that, before going into the Fried Chicken business with his wife, he had managed a sandwich shop with 100 unique sandwiches on their menu. He said the place went out of business shortly after he left because they could not find anyone to replace him who could manage to memorize the entire 100 sandwich menu. Employees having to Read the list of ingredients before making each sandwich just didn’t work out.
