Clove’s better off without him. I would run the engine and crank that heater. Being that Slim’s a mechanic I trust his exhaust system is tight so he don’t get poisoned by the fumes.

Buy a space blanket. They are cheap, as thin as a trash bag, but they will keep you warm even when the night gets below zero.

Wasn’t Clovia ill at the start of this arc? Seems that Slim, in his self-centeredness, has forgotten that.

This is domestic abuse, MAYBE funny in a comic strip but completely unacceptable in real life. Slim should report her, then leave her and start enjoying life. Sorry for the downer, but I’ve been there, and I’m grateful to have escaped.

Ha ha, Slim’s been banished from his own home due to false adultery accusations, and now he has nowhere to go and is starting to panic that he’ll freeze to death in his car! Say what you will about Gasoline Alley, but it does put out good ones occasionally, if you don’t like Slim, and I don’t.

I sense something bad is about to happen.

Will Clovia’s eventual apology come in the form of kisses or fattening food?

I foresee a plan of redemption story coming up.
