Jill, karma is going to come back and bite you for laughing at this sad situation. Everybody makes mistakes, you’re not perfect and you will have a comeuppance for your lack of sympathy.
I always tried to keep the vehicles filled, especially during the winter ……. It would aggravate me so much, to get in a truck and the gauge was on E or close …… considering that all anyone had to do was stop at one of the gas stations and fill up (had accounts at most of them) …… :)
