Notice who is being a jerk. Mort! Not the gun owner. You could say the other guy was threatening Mort, but it seems to me he’s expressing surprise. And Mort seems to be sure he’s not going to be shot.
I live in the country, very quiet. And yet we have these people who NEED to carry a gun “to be safe”. Are the going to get mugged by a cow? Most of them would soil themselves if I took them to where I grew up and places I worked even with their guns.
There is a video of a big guy with a big gun announcing a hold-up. While everybody else panicked a woman close to him pulled out a small .32 and tapped him 3 times on the chest like a nail gun. He fell out of frame.
just to make a point here: in the Old West, you could not carry a gun…that is a misconception given by movies and tv and literature…the Gunfight at the OK Corral started when one of the Clanton’s brought a gun into town…before McCall killed Wild Bill Hickok, he had to pretend to leave town and get his gun back and then circle around…Daniel Boone made it illegal to carry a gun in Boonesborough…as they have shown in many movies like my favorite Rio Bravo, guns were collected at the cities’ entrances…yes folks like Wild Bill and Wyatt Earp carried guns – they were law enforcement…when the Dalton’s tried to rob the 2 banks in Coffeyville KS in 1892, no citizens were carrying guns – but the banks the Dalton’s were robbing were across the street from the town’s general store and the owner had lots of guns and ammunition and he had money in the bank so the townsfolk opened up and 4 Dalton’s were killed

The gun packer isn’t helping his cause by threatening Mort.

In other words, responsible gun owner vs jerk.

This is the only response to ammosexuals. Make it clear how sad and weak they look.

People who open carry remind me of drivers of big suv’s and pickups: “I dare you to….!”
