Most films need better editing and are much too long; Horace has the right idea.

That’s a lot of work to do just to get a tub of popcorn….!

In fairness, I have occasionally thought I’d like to learn to edit movies for the same reason, because there have been one or two films I’ve seen than I’d think would be better if trimmed down some, and making a proof of concept people could see would help prove the point.
