Mine don’t even pretend to like one another.

“I love you, I groom you, I bite your face off” It’s the cycle of cat relationships!

“Rub me under my chin. I’ll let you know when to stop.”

Slow bat

Mine do like each other, but will occasionally start a battle just for the sheer joy of it.

Some days they touch noses, some days swat at each other. Either way they mostly get along just fine.

My two cats, every day.

Sneak attack! Love hurts!

The established cat couldn’t stand the rescued kitten, but he finally resigned himself to ignoring her as if she were furniture — he’d walk past her as if she didn’t exist. Except when she jumped on him, and then he’d fight her off. But once in a while she’d lie down next to him while he was asleep, and he’d half wake up and start washing her… and then he’d wake up completely, realize what he was doing, and jerk away, like, “What the ****!!!”

Accurate.

Right now 3 of the 5 are curled up together with one of the dogs on the hearth purring away. You can tell they are content because their purring is synchronised.
