Yea, if they left her once and her mom had to leave work to get her to school or she had to walk I bet she would be ready on time. At least for a while.
A few years ago, I had jury duty for a federal case in downtown Milwaukee. Other than the first day, which started after jury selection, one jurist was @1/2 hour late every day. This went on for two weeks, no matter how much the judge stressed the starting time and a couple of private reprimands from the court security officer.

if you weren’t at the bus stop at time, you just won’t be able to get on, those drivers do not care about whether you go to school or not
