Labradors, Newfoundlands and Chesapeakes love the water and their humans so much that they will refrain from shaking off until they are right up against the humans so they can share the enjoyment of the water with them. (Lab and NewfieLab owner)

Cat math is related to this, i.e. Litter Box aiming or dead critter hiding!

No matter how long I rub Doggie Darling with a towel, she still feels wet when she sits in my lap! Good morning y’all! We miss you Ginnie!

Chocolate, vanilla, or strawberry are the only permissible shakes indoors. Don’t go for a dog shake at McDonald’s, they tend to frown on that kind of thing.

The only thing more affectionate than a wet dog is a muddy dog.
