humans call that progress Fred…sorry

Not what I call progress. Some people call themselves Land Developers. I call them Land Destroyers.

This sort of reminds me of a very classic “Yogi Bear” cartoon…

Thought I caught a mistake when I looked at this and said to myself, “hey, the cars are driving on the wrong…” then I remembered that Fred is in the UK.

Fred this is why Farmland must stay Farmland ! Food is way more important than another road to nowhere . On this side of the pond we do not need more debt to pay for these useless roads ;-)

And their all driving the wrong direction. LOL!!!

Kinda like what happened to my beautiful little farming village. Then the McMansions popped up like mushrooms after a rain. I live on one of the last farms left in the area.

I’m from California and old enough to remember when there were no freeways. So pleasant and peaceful then!

They will develop all the land along I-25 between NM and Wyo., until it is one big area called Cheyanaquerque.

Like what has happened to Florida. Hard to find an orange grove anywhere.

About 50 years ago, the provincial government here legislated an Agricultural Land Reserve to preserve farmland. Speculators and developers were enraged, but we still have it, thankfully.
