When we both worked, getting up early to shovel was a thing, as was keeping “ahead of the storm” like he does. Now, I make sure the sidewalks are cleared for the kids walking to the school one block away & the drive when/if we need to get to the store. Living in Denver metro area, we get the occasional big storm then the next week temps are around 50°F and most everything melts quickly.

February, 2011. It snowed every other day. Had to shovel every three hours to keep ahead of it, three times a week.
