Suddenly, Madonna is clouding my brain with, “We’re living in a material world, and I am a…”

If we were just “living” in the present, we would be stuck and it really wouldn’t be living.

Think outside it!

That is some major fourth wall breaking.

You live in the ‘Now’, which in a moment becomes the ‘Then’

Go with the flow.

For them, every day is boxing day.

Getting philosophical here: The ‘present’, as we experience it, is probably the ~30 seconds leading up to current instance plus the ~30 seconds to come. I’m not trying to redefine the word, I am only thinking of what I feel as the present. Of course it can always support modifiers: the present minute, the present generation, or ‘in the present’ used to contrast historical times.

Personally, I´m living in denial!

Hey, it’s an election year and they seem to get uglier each time around. We are all boxed in, it seems, and are being spoon fed half-truths and outright lies.

You’d think Verne would know better than to have a serious discussion with RJ about ANYthing!
