Just finished Darrin Bell’s memoir, “The Talk”. Highly recommended, although emotional to read — I had trouble reading more than one chapter at a time.
I saw actual footage of SF Forty-Niner fans smashing their televisions the other day, after the Super Bowl. One of them was a pretty big flatscreen TV; the guy picked it up and flung it to the floor, then he and a couple of other guys stomped on it. It reminded me of all the stupid old movies where a guy, wanting to disable the computer, kicks or shoots the monitor.
