Fact – Presidents have a tradition to grant an interview that airs just before the Superbowl, by the station that is carrying the game (CBS, NBC etc). Started with Obama. It’s the largest t.v. audience of the year. And yet, for the 2nd year in a row, Biden is declining, as his team is fearful of what he might say, like, President Biden’s latest mix-up, this one involving a dead French president, is just one in a string of similar occurrences in recent years. On Sunday, Biden told a Las Vegas crowd he met with François Mitterrand, a French president who has been deceased for 28 years. Biden made the blunder while retelling the story of a gathering with French President Emmanuel Macron at a G7 meeting shortly before he entered the Oval Office.
Just sayin’….Biden trails Trump, the front-runner for the GOP presidential nomination, by 23 points when voters were asked who would be a better candidate to handle the economy, according to the results of a national NBC News poll released Sunday. 55% of registered voters said they believe Trump would be the better candidate to steer the economy, compared to 33% who chose Biden.
And Biden’s deficit versus Trump on handling immigration and the border is greater than 30 points. The poll also shows Trump holding a 16-point advantage over Biden on being competent and effective, a reversal from 2020, when Biden was ahead of Trump on this quality by 9 points before defeating him in that election. And Biden’s approval rating has declined to the lowest level of his presidency in NBC News polling – to 37% – while fewer than 3-in-10 voters approve of his handling of the Israel-Hamas war.Can it get much worse for you, leftist’s?
It’s been well documented that our God-King was quite the athlete in his day and quite the dashing figure with no lack of comely ladies at his beckoning. Crazy Joe, not so much.
Why will Joe be benched during the game? His coach (CBS) and handlers (CNN, NBC, ABC-Disney) are worried he’ll fumble the ball or run in the wrong direction. Why not just punt.
two days ago, trump said, “Look at even things like supply change,” meaning “supply chains,” which trump claimed was a little-known phrase.
But we heard about supply chains a lot during the deadly Covid pandemic, which trump handled with incompetence, during which time we saw a million deaths in this country, when the supply chains broke.
Stores ran out of everything, and people were buying hand sanitizer and toilet paper to re-sell, and gouge their neighbors.
But trump thinks we didn’t have a reason to know this phrase.
Maybe trump’s forgotten Covid happened only four years ago.
How come none of you trump-humpers criticized trump when he skipped the traditional Super Bowl pregame interview in 2017?
And speaking of tradition, every time President Obama did it, he showed up pre-game, and did a live interview with different broadcasters, from CBS’ Scott Pelley to Fox News Channel’s Bill O’Reilly.
But not trump. No, when trump did participate, he never gave his consent for a live interview, because trump is a coward, and he’s not smart enough to handle questions that haven’t been screened, and trump’s handlers know trump constantly, consistently make bad matters worse every time he spews out of his stupid mouth, even though he was younger and less demented then, than he is now.
And speaking of tradition and trump’s sickening cowardice, trump also skipped the correspondents dinners.
Why?
Because he is such a petulant child, and he is so thin-skinned, he is incapable of hearing anything said about him that is not praise.
Even the State-Run Media is hating on Old Slo Joe for passing up another zero-threat Super Bowl interview. What are they afraid of? That he might star in Sixth Sense II and have another indecipherable conversation with his dead friend François Mitterrand?
Come to think of it, Susan Rice might want to resurrect the basement strategy again.
All of you have missed the point of the comic. EVERY YEAR, the SuperBowl has a “grip and grin” with the president. This year, Biden has declined it. Trump volunteered to do it in his stead. THAT is the point of the comic. Joe needs to retreat to his basement again…he couldn’t last 3 minutes ad libbing.

This cartoon presumes that Trump actual can run. If he can’t ride a bicycle, he probably can’t run, either (or walk down a wet ramp unaided).

I hope trump ends up so broke from paying off lawyers and lawsuits, this will be his travel catchphrase.

This is silly. Ex-president fatso would never say “put me in coach”. He’d say “put me in a private plane”. He might get germs from someone in coach.
