I never got treats when I did a good job at work. I just got more work.

I kind of feel like this when I praise my dog when she really overdoes herself doing dog therapy. She goes up happily to strangers, lets them pet her, sometimes roughly, smiles through it all, loves on all little children whose parents allow it, walks miles through the hospital with me, visits a lot of staff, stays calm and happy and all – and the best thing I can do for her is pet her a bit and give her a dog treat. She loves her job, so I sure hope she is getting adequate job satisfaction. She can’t even hear me praise her anymore. but she loves it when we get ready to go to work.

Why, he can hardly contain his joy……LOL

Of course he wants a treat…
