Mum never allowed us to put anything in our mouths but a toothbrush, a spoon, or a fork. No straws and no lollypops. Whenever the dentist gave my sister or me dental floss, she’d throw it out, claiming “tooth twine” was nasty stuff. To this day, I feel guilty using it.
Considering the way I was raised, it’s a wonder I’m not battier than I am.

Try using a water flosser. You get a lot more than a few splatters using one of those.

I floss in the shower. All those splatters go right down the drain :)

It’s good thing you had your glasses on Liv, now back away from the splash zone.

For Ben it’s a win-win, good dental hygiene, and obscuring the mirror so he can’t see himself.
