Texas spent decades as a sanctuary state for every migrant its agriculture and petroleum industries could employ at substandard wages. And when Greg Abbott was Texas AG he opposed punishing Texas employers who illegally hired migrant workers. Hypocrisy writ large.
But at least Mike Lester isn’t being a Putin apologist today.
Notice that when Texas under Gov. Abbott once again put up the barbed wire the illegals went elsewhere. Namely the Arizona and California borders. Unfortunately Arizona is governed by a questionable elected Democrat who does little to nothing to protect our border. California is still a sanctuary state so will they take all that are crossing here at Yuma, Lukeville, Nogales, Naco, and Douglas? Eventually Gavin Nussiance will wake up and not accpet the hoards of migrants from China, Kazakstan, Afghanistan, Georgia, and Russia. Wake up America.

‘Migrants’, ‘immigrants’ and ‘asylum seekers’ are legal by the laws made by congress. ‘ILLEGAL’ immigrants are way down, back to the numbers under Obama after spiking up under tRump. Abbott is playing political games and Republican/conservatives are purposely mixing the terms to give the wrong story.
What about the migrants who were deliberately bused to cities like NY, DC, Chicago, etc. by red state Governors like Abbott, DeSantis, etc.? Or the bipartisan border security bill that has been deliberately buried in the House by Speaker Johnson because Trump doesn’t like it? This has given the Democrats some prime ammunition for the 2024 campaigns. That the GOP has nixed the border deal because they need something to rile up their base.
