Kermit opens the bottom half of the casket, and using Ronald Reagan’s words in the old movie “Kings Row”, he cries “Where’s the rest of me?”

There’s a recent model of Jeep that has an “X” over each tail light. It always makes me think of the old-time cartoon shorthand for dead characters.

I always wondered why Kermit was the only Muppet with dashes in his eyes. Does anyone know, or is it a secret Jim Henson took to his grave?
