“Methinks sometimes I have no more wit than a Christian or an ordinary man has. But I am a great eater of beef, and I believe that does harm to my wit.” — Sir Anthony Aguecheek, Twelfth Night
I had a little smattering of Shakespeare in High School and later on in college. The takeaway from the college course was that the professor went moist over Kenneth Branagh in his Shakespearean movies.

I have his “complete” works, the ones that survived, WITH stage directions. Not easy to read.

I never did any reading of Shakespeare. The only dramatic reading we did was in 12th grade and then only from George Bernard Shaw.

Shakespeare couldn’t have been a vegetarian — he didn’t write about it in all his plays.

Some claim the works of Shakespeare were written by Bacon.
