At age 16 we were added to the checking accounts. We were expected to do the shopping. Lists were always update on the fridge door. Feminine products, laxatives, so on were quite frequently added. Once in a while those “emergency runs” for required products mandated a single item purchase. As a 16 year old male, not once did I ever give it a second thought. Facts of life, every one goes through it, so why be embarrassed by it.

It all Depends.

If anyone sees me getting something like that, and asks, I tell them “having a special Saturday night that needs prep work”.

12-grain bread usually does the job for me. And Wheat Thins (store brand).
