Worked with a Chinese guy, Ben. He had an offset sense of humor. One of the ladies at work brought in a puppy she was caring for. It was in a blanket in a box by her desk. Ben opened the blanket then murmured, “Black dog, good for banquet.” The lady shooed him away with a frown. Ben was having fun.
Archaeologist found a dog buried 9000 years ago with a collection of toys. Before the pyramids, before Stonehenge, this dog’s owner loved it enough that they wanted it to be happy in the afterlife.
