Cats have the innate ability to know what is important in any situation.

Sounds like motive to me.

Cats in that situation, if no one comes, will get by by nibbling on the dead human. I’ve seen it more than once. Never seen a dog do it, though.

This is where the K9 unit comes in handy.

Cats always know how you feel, they just dosen´t care as long as their food bowl is filled and their kitty litter is changed.

The dog already ate part of the body, so feed the cat before it gets any worse.
