The meteors…

Another gov project done.

It’s not a meteor, it’s another piece of the Space Station.

To be fair, the story should picture the humble opossum that did in fact survive. Seems it was satisfied with a more meager menu. Consider that when looking to buy a huge pickup two bags of dog food home.

Sorta like hiding under your desk in case of Nuclear Attack. A lot of thought had to go into that. Surely they were not that stupid back then. It had to be some sort of “comfort move”.

It’s nice to be fully employed while awaiting the doom of your civilization. He only got this project going after the teeny Wile E. Coyote umbrellas did not sell well.

And the meteor will pay for it.
