I once got a fortune from a cookie that was so off the wall and funny that I kept it in my wallet. Now it’s missing along with the memory of what it said. I wonder if it was something about my memory?

That’s usually been my fortune almost every day. It’s often a matter of attitude although that easier to say once retired.

Due to an unfortunate alignment of vertical window struts, I saw the sign on the Chinese restaurant as “Fate-free Fortune Cookies”.

An oddly worded fortune I got in a cookie said something like “When faced with two evils, try the one you have not had before”. Hmmmm. (Evil grin)
