Oh! My! Stars! One of the funniest puns I’ve heard in a long time. Better than Frank and Ernest.

OK. Another of my pet peeves. Talking heads on TV using the word ‘homicide’ incorrectly. It means the killing of a person by another person, regardless of legality or intent. The context in which they use it, it connotes ‘murder’.

And on the subject of peeves, another is ‘airborne’. It means carried by or through the air. An airplane is airborne. A baseball or a car are not. They are ballistic.

The intent and use of language is to convey information. News-themed entertainment programs are purportedly in the business of conveying information. It looks to me as though they’d want to be better at using their tools.

Sorry. Just my opinions. And I’m the world’s foremost expert on my opinions. I’ll go back to sleep now.

Once again, we are supposed to be looking at comic strips for fun and relaxation. Not for fuel for pet peeves and rants. Aren’t there some blogs better suited for this?
