The new cartoons haven’t taught kids not to be bullies or not to take social media seriously, so their moralizing has been lost on their viewers. Maybe if they sung their lessons, because I still remember “I’m just a bill” and “conjunction junction”.
Focus by reader was on the slapstick comedy to the extreme and they had to draw each movement per page…..today all they see is the violence……..“can’t show that”!!!!!
Those 40s Warner Brothers cartoon explosions were colorful and no permanent harm was done, although some characters did require reassembly. It was not necessary in those days to include anatomically correct gore, moans and high-resolution organ details.
Bluey is good. And even better in the uncensored Australian/British version we get up here. You would not believe the flatulence and stuff that Disney censors out.

Free speech: violence and brainwashing of children’s minds….and their kids, too.
