Oh, but of course there have been some fans who whined about it over the years. Like those who enjoyed the fatality rate in turn of the 20th century football.
The pitch clock is the best thing that has happened to baseball. Watching players step out every time to adjust the batting glove was maddening. Games are regularly getting finished in 2.5 hours or less. Great to see.
