Walt is not decrepit when an issue hits home.

Unless Walt has a document saying that name changes have to go through him, he doesn’t have a leg to stand on. He’s probably going to rally the town against it.

oooo…I like the idea of having a flashback to the original cast and setting of Gasoline Alley! I’m also now wondering if the City Hall being over 100 years old will fit in – maybe some important documents have accidentally been hidden there, or are in a time capsule buried by the cornerstone of the building!

That’s not the winning argument Walt thinks it is. After all, if some random citizen like Walt can give a town a name, why can’t someone else do the same thing later? At least this guy has an official position in the city’s hierarchy.

They renamed a major street here, and it was hard for all the residents with getting their mail, and deliveries, why they changed it, is beyond me!

I sincerely believe that what is needed here to help Walt on accomplishing his mission….. is our stalwart hero with elbow patches, our gnome-like but infinitely wise wizard, our pipe-smoking professorial sage….. Joel !!!!

Joel, with his clarity, truth, and sincerity in his partnership with Walt….there would be no way in hell that Walt would lose to this blustery buffoon.

Here’s an idea: Get some historical society to lobby to have the site of Walt’s original garage declared a historical landmark!
