For further information on the villain of the piece, go to the page for August 5, 2021. Once upon a time, I could have provided a direct link, but that’s no longer allowed.
This is unfortunately too true. The CEO at a company I worked for left because of his poor performance. He walked away with a $10 million package and later a $10 million dollar discrepancy was found. He stayed on the board as well as the boards for other corporations and banks. People like that always “fail upwards” and never suffer the consequences of their actions.
Since I don’t know if anyone checked out the other panel, I’ll just mention here that the departing CEO is CJ’s uncle. She was hired while he was in charge, and when he left she didn’t want to talk much about him.

Especially at that angle.

Hopefully, he did have the bean burro plate for lunch. They could easily become detrimental to his “attitude” control.

Dana’s look in that last panel is the face of the average American worker.

I worked for a company that was bought out, the folks at the top got golden parachutes, I didn’t even get a hanky.

And another company is chomping at the bit to hire him, and allow him to hurt their performance too…
