That’s more like it!

So that’s why some kids take up golf!

Strike one! … Strike two! … Strike Fore!

An unusual Red and Rover strip in that we do not see Rover. Red calls to Rover but we never actually see him.

As a child, I had this fantasy of my friends playing baseball in a major league stadium using a tennis ball and tennis racket. It seemed to me at the time that the tennis ball would travel much farther. Now, I doubt that the ball would travel much farther than we were capable of hitting a baseball.

Red needs just a tad more eye contact with the ball.

Swing and a misses!!!!!!

As a kid, I didn’t have a “Rover” to fetch my baseballs (or tennis balls). I was forced to use rocks. Good thing I had two bats.

Watch out with that – I once accidentally whacked my dog with a bat doing the same thing back in the 80’s. Make sure you “fake them out first” to get some distance before you swing.

Now there’s a hybrid sport. Use a bat like a golf club to hit a tennis ball.

Get the kid a set of clubs.

That’s an excellent way of improvising ….. and Rover will get some running in ….. ;)
