OK, ♠Lonewolf♠, coming your way, but please keep some distance between the nulcear coffee and cocamoca. We don’t want another incident since I am in no condition to clean it up at this point…..and don’t want to wake up to it in the morning!
Lord, such a menu must be heavenly inspired. Not wishing to cross God’s will, GROG, I’ll take pancakes and coffee. What do you call it DOC TOON’S WORLD FAMOUS NUCLEAR COFFEE and CRANKCASE CLEANER The only coffee that comes to you. My 32 oz cup is under the sink
Morning TRIBE!. Going to the 4th of July festival and fireworks today Is it me, or could the government make a mistake?
Quite frankly, the breakfast nook is getting out of hand. If you want to install a salad bar-type-setup, I know a contractor. Otherwise, I’m afraid I’m going to have to notifiy the authorities. There are too many code violations to enumerate…
He’s shown me a mock-up made with match sticks and Elmer’s Glue…it’s quite impressive. I think we can accomodate over one hundred different breakfast menu items without putting anyone in the hospital.
Great day at the racetrack yesterday with my grandson, Lil Geek. Imagine, an impressed 13 year old.
I don’t know how my son got them, but this was VIP trackside.
Tent, with buffet, tables with tableclothes, endless libations, food, food, food, a motorhome with widescreen tv’ internet connections and seating on the roof to view the racing.
WOW.
I have to take Lil Geek back again today for the Sprint Cup race, Shuckydarns.
I haven’t been this excited about racing since I rolled a car over turn 4 at Lake Geneva Raceway, landed on the wheels and still finished in the top10, Doc.
The best was my grandson actually not texting all day and watching what was going on.
Greetings Hymenoxis it’s great to see you again. Is it too late to wrangle an invitation to your pool?
Doc love your avatar. How do you manage to get so many pictures of my cats? [We’ve had a lot of cats over the years and I still miss every one of them]
Serena, I am the same way about my dogs that we have had. I remember them all and it saddens me to think that the time with them was so short. We have had a couple of cats too and I feel the same about them. :^)
Good morning for Sat. everyone, may not be here to long, county has annual fair town we lived in 25 miles west of us, may not be there too long either, to hot outside feel bad for vendors.
Lonewolf :( I didn’t copy and paste your name for photob would like to see, I hope today, photo pictures update. All are very interesting with couple different ones even from Grande Canyon. May I have your name again and I will put it where I have a list of imagies on word document. Thanks
I will probably regret the late night, Grog. I am getting ready to go pick up parts for a job tomorrow, then it is off to pool league for the regular matches plus a make up set of matches, then zip out to the Arena Football game!
Thanks. I thought it was but had trouble remembering, I’m currently slowing down on pain meds but not muscle meds not to make me stronger either oposite. RR my best friend.
And memory is not that great now. I know have in on word.
Been trying for small pictures so doesn’t take up much room on comments. Makes it hard on some posters not knowing who is she or he.
Leaving now hot day. Hope to read all later. Lonewolf if you do pool today have fun. Wish my son would do other things instead of home. No I cannot kick him out he would be homeless.
Kab that’s not Doc’s nuclear coffee. It would have burned a hole through that flimsy cup, the table, the floor, and then it would have crawled off to China.
Things are ok here. Had a turn of luck. The tire on my car went flatter than a pancake. My spare was rotten and unusable. AAA inflated it Wednesday night, but I didn’t get paid until Friday…and Thursday night it was flat again. So I had it towed to my tire repair shop. Not K-Mart, not Wal-mart. I’ve used these guys since we moved here in ‘99 and they always do me right. Anyway, the tow was $18 (not bad for 9 miles) and they repaired the tire. I didn’t have to buy new tire(s). Whoo Hoo!
Taffy is doing fine, growing like a weed. She’s slowly learning not to bite my hand/arm. Right now she’s poking around my messy desk, looking for trouble. Oh, she’ll say she’s not doing anything….but she’s finding trouble.
Got to run for now. Making tacos for lunch….* Tribe * share will be on the table/counter. Don’t make too big of a mess with the fixings bar, *Hy has done a good job cleaning.
Shika move to say hi to Terry, Quaby (who i haven’t seen in a while) and to say “thanks” to *Hy* for the clean up effort. now i really am gone.
(((Tribe)))
Slow day….no matter. It’s a lazy, hazy Saturday. I’ve finished lunch (tasty tacos) and am getting ready to do some beading while watching The Truman Show
Doggone it, Shika, that was almost the third time I forgot to wish you a happy birthday!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!
Hi Sojourner I don’t know about anywhere else, but we’re back in the rain again. Getting kind of dreary with that and I’m sure I’m noticing webs on my toes. Oh well, the ducks and geese are enjoying it so I guess it’s not a total loss. I’m glad you’re having a good day.
serenasakitty - It’s sunny and not too hot which is nice for this time of year here. Several people have plans this weekend which is one reason it may be slow. Hope the rain doesn’t cause you any more internet problems to what you already have! :-)
Hello everyone. Went to county fair. Different vendors and for a change no rain. There was someone advertising limo service and not smaller one’s either but big SUV one cost big $$$ seats 23, he never over books. Also had a limo bus looks like a city bus. There where, I didn’t count, cost to 5 or 6 there for a smoke barbeque cook off. At 5pm. $5 lets one test and rate.
Quaby sorry I didn’t match Doc T famous nuclear coffee, but when it comes to breakfast isn’t there a humongous variety? Why not a variety in coffee?
Hello Kab Buch - I went to that fair a few years ago, wish I had known about it earlier as I would of gone to it more. County fairs are a lot different than state fairs. It is a nice day to go to it, glad you got to go today!
Sojourner we went last year and there weren’t the vendors there. Years ago maybe 10 years ago there was one I really liked make jewelry out of shells very pretty. I have earrings from those shells and bought for other family. They quite and I miss them. Now i have to many different ones to choose from and I choose cheap, some loose our of my ears. I have pierced. Something else new this year something any guy will like car show’s, Same type guys will see around.
Kab Buch - The year I went there was a person giving helicopter rides. I almost took a ride but it cost a lot and I had had a better helicopter ride through the bad lands in South Dakota.
Hello Saucy how is your Sat. going? Quite here. Thinking about photob for some nice pictures. Though I would have like to turn one in on B-Day cakes there was a naughty one, not for children either, someone did though now I don’t know if it is still there. And I thought photob only allowed family type.
Sojourner I remember that, on the helicopter ride’s, I don’t know who ran it but it was popular. We lived in that town so we heard that helicopter going a lot. I don’t remember how many years the one who had the helicopter going there. Not sure this year if the helicopter is being used.
I corrected what I said I know one cannot be open and mistyped. Even on Gocomics anywhere on these strips I don’t give out too much. Except what I might give out. And please I was not asking you to give out your location that needs to remain secret. I do know this is very open. That is why I’m not sure of facebook or twitter.
I hope you don’t live in the area that flood’s though. City, part where I live, maintain a drainage canal. Hard for me to have a window open because of road traffic. There are a few in this area leads to Big ditch.
As for others on this site I hope your homes doesn’t flood when major rain happens. Out here it does happen and certain streets in around town are high pron to flooding.
I notice though for most jobs including medical, more technology, medical is heading away from paper-files on computer. Wish my boss let me on some changes, though I’m the only one doing Onbase scanning, gets tedious.
That is where higher learning and degree’s would come in handy if I could pass. Can’t do anything about faster typing speed like 70+
I havn’t had any flood problems but need to have a good sump pump when the water table rises! Street flooding is a problem all over town and sometimes you need to learn what are the safe routes to take at times.
Oh I do, I almost got caugth in one had to turn around. I go by what weatherman say turn around and don’t drown. And with city having budget problems, I don’t work there came close then I would have been the 100 got laid off, when they can maintain streets. Now have to watch out for streets that break due to heat.
It seems almost any job can change overnight. Even McDonalds was thinking of drive through order taking being farmed out to cheaper countries by phone!
My mom lives w and no flooding problem it’s sandy and with stickers. Her yard, my dad bought years before they every married and he didn’t know her then, wanted a lot of yard space between neighbors, I miss that.
♠Lonewolf♠ - It does look like it would be fun to go to. I enjoyed going to indoor soccer when it was here. Like arena football and hockey it was fast paced.
Kab, it probably came out wrong…I was trying to imply you had been ‘sold’ fake Doc’s Nuclear Coffee. You would never pawn off inferior stuff on the Tribe
Other than that, waiting for Doctor Who to come on.
Hello Quaby - I don’t know which Doctor Who your going to watch. I watched some of the original shows and enjoyed them. I think newer shows were made but haven’t seen any of those (if they exist).
Thanks Quaby - The shows I saw were a long time ago by BBC. It and their Hitchhikers Guide etc, were fun to watch due to their old special effects!
Doctor Toon - A few years ago I sat on the ground several hours in an odd position watching the air show at Oshkosh, Wisconsin and took several days to recover from it! I would hate to have problems at movie theaters etc.
Hi, tribe!
Found this in my archives: ~Joke Warning~
Two new chemical elements have recently been discovered. Here for the first time is a description of their properties.
Element Name: WOMAN
Symbol: WO
Atomic Weight: (Don’t even go there!)
Physical Properties: General round in form. Boils at nothing and may freeze any time. Melts whenever treated properly. Very bitter if not used well.
Chemical Properties: Very active. Highly unstable. Possesses strong affinity to gold, silver, platinum, and precious stones. Violent when left alone.
Able to absorb great amounts of exotic food. Turns slightly green when placed next to a better specimen.
Usage: Highly ornamental. An extremely good catalyst for dispersion of wealth. Probably the most powerful income reducing agent known.
Caution: Highly explosive in inexperienced hands.
Element Name: MAN
Symbol: XY
Atomic Weight: (180 +/- 50)
Physical Properties: Solid at room temperature, but gets bent out of shape easily. Fairly dense and sometimes flaky. Difficult to find a pure sample. Due to rust, aging samples are unable to conduct electricity as easily as young samples.
Chemical Properties: Attempts to bond with WO any chance it can get. Also tends to form strong bonds with itself. Becomes explosive with mixed with Kd (Element: Child) for prolonged period of time. Neutralize by saturating with alcohol.
Usage: None known. Possibly good methane source. Good samples are able to produce large quantities on command.
Caution: In the absence of WO, this element rapidly decomposes and begins to smell.
Good evening everyone this day went to fast.
Quaby I was just offering a little variety, or is that against the rules. I would never replace Doc T most famous nuclear strong coffee.
Ones who do breakfast offer a humongous variety I thought why not coffee variety and have a little fun.
But if this bothers some I will desists.
Me I like a variety get tired of same old thing.
Sojo - Not too bad, just out for dinner. Of course there’s plenty to keep me busy here. Laundry, trimming son’s hair, etc.
Now it is time for me to head to bed.
Good night!
The Arena Football Game was a blast! The home team, Chicago Rush won. It went down to the last play as the other team was trying to win on a pass. James had a lot of fun and is looking forward to going again!

Kab Buch - I know what you had meant and was just agreeing with you. :-)
kab2rb over 14 years ago
Thanks I think at times faster then typing, wish I speed typed, spoke Spanish, higher education, etc. life might be different but oh well.
George Arnold over 14 years ago
Everyone has a lot of “if only’ or ‘if I had”. Just going forward now with what can is all you can do!
kab2rb over 14 years ago

Can’t do anything about faster typing speed like 70+
George Arnold over 14 years ago
I havn’t had any flood problems but need to have a good sump pump when the water table rises! Street flooding is a problem all over town and sometimes you need to learn what are the safe routes to take at times.
kab2rb over 14 years ago
Oh I do, I almost got caugth in one had to turn around. I go by what weatherman say turn around and don’t drown. And with city having budget problems, I don’t work there came close then I would have been the 100 got laid off, when they can maintain streets. Now have to watch out for streets that break due to heat.

It seems almost any job can change overnight. Even McDonalds was thinking of drive through order taking being farmed out to cheaper countries by phone!
kab2rb over 14 years ago
My mom lives w and no flooding problem it’s sandy and with stickers. Her yard, my dad bought years before they every married and he didn’t know her then, wanted a lot of yard space between neighbors, I miss that.

Kab, it probably came out wrong…I was trying to imply you had been ‘sold’ fake Doc’s Nuclear Coffee. You would never pawn off inferior stuff on the Tribe
Other than that, waiting for Doctor Who to come on.
George Arnold over 14 years ago
Hello Quaby - I don’t know which Doctor Who your going to watch. I watched some of the original shows and enjoyed them. I think newer shows were made but haven’t seen any of those (if they exist).
George Arnold over 14 years ago
Doctor Toon - Getting stiff seems to happen more with age but haven’t heard of sleeping more than 6 hours causing it! :-)
Quabaculta over 14 years ago
Doctor Who is in it’s 6th season and on the third Doctor. So far David Tennet has had the longest run at 4 seasons They’re updated and good. IMHO
George Arnold over 14 years ago
Thanks Quaby - The shows I saw were a long time ago by BBC. It and their Hitchhikers Guide etc, were fun to watch due to their old special effects!
Doctor Toon - A few years ago I sat on the ground several hours in an odd position watching the air show at Oshkosh, Wisconsin and took several days to recover from it! I would hate to have problems at movie theaters etc.
George Arnold over 14 years ago
Bye Doctor Toon - Have a good evening and night at work.

Hi, tribe! Found this in my archives: ~Joke Warning~ Two new chemical elements have recently been discovered. Here for the first time is a description of their properties. Element Name: WOMAN Symbol: WO Atomic Weight: (Don’t even go there!) Physical Properties: General round in form.

~Joke Continued~
Element Name: MAN Symbol: XY Atomic Weight: (180 +/- 50)

Hello Rmom - Thanks! LOL Hope your day has been less running around!
