I have a portrait of my wife, painted before her death by her best friend. Instead of a head, she has a branching tree. Something about maternal influence. I keep it in a closet but I cannot bear to part with it.

Looks pretty ’effable to me. :)

He’s beginning to canvass people about his canvas.

PLOT TWIST. He’s told his work sucks and gives up. An art critic finds his work in the garbage and hails it as the best in the world and never finds Monty as the artist

That’s internal reality alright, looks like the contents of his colon.

Monty should know that you can’t do abstract expressionism sober.
