Wrapped their houses in plastic wrap and duct tape? For real? That is insane. How many boxes of wrap and rolls of duct tape would it take plus the time and effort. Truly insane. Still I would love to see such a sight.
February 2003 – Wall Street Journal – “Indicating a new level of concern about a potential terrorist strike, homeland security officials called on citizens to buy duct tape, plastic sheeting, and food and water to prepare for a possible chemical or biological attack.” Yes it was every bit as crazy as it sounds.
Sure makes me glad I’m old and a short-timer for this world. When I hear about kids having babies, I don’t know whether to be happy for them or sad for the baby. I end up a little bit of both.
