I agree with what Nancy said in the 2nd panel here.
I thought that child labor laws were abolished at the turn of the twentieth century. Especially in America or the U.K. children should not have to be forced to work ALL OF THE TIME!
Here’s an answer for you: shut up and get to work.
OR just quit this dumb robot club. No one is getting along, the teacher doesn’t seem to be helping, and it’s not even fun. Why are they even there anymore?
There seems to be a missing word (“are”) in panel 3.
In any event, this strip makes a good point about kids’ lives being over-scheduled, apparently as training for a life as adults who work too much. Keeping some of your life for play or leisure or hobbies or family and friends shouldn’t be viewed negatively as “not working.”
My brother is 5 years younger than I am. Although he eventually figured out that he was supposed to come up with the answers himself, when I first tried to help him with his homework he wanted me to tell him the answers.

Oh, Nancy. How selfish.
