    I was lucky with Chinook (Avatar) …. he never need to have his nails trimmed …… as he did so much running on our road that he kept his claws trimmed …… ;)

    Ours always went to the vet for “peticures” after we got Angel – she squirmed too much to avoid getting scratched at home, and as time went by she had to be muzzled to avoid bitten techs. I suspect a groomer wouldn’t do the other part of their “routine maintenance,” anal gland expression (for one of which Lindy drooped in, positively bounced across the clinic lawn coming out).
