You have to stay vigilant. I got a message that I’d made a $138 PayPal payment. No I didn’t. I looked and some company named Entertainment Media had charged me that amount 3 times this week! They say they provide, news, Hulu, entertainment publications etc!!! NO! I immediately canceled them and changed my password. Tomorrow I will call PayPal. I don’t know how they got my password. I rarely use PayPal, but I heard some Companies sell passwords to these types of “companies” and I did buy a pair of shies on line a few days ago. Scared me to death!
NATIONAL EMPANADA DAY. National Empanada Day recognizes a delicious pastry that comes in several different forms. The name empanada comes from the Galician, Portuguese and Spanish verb em pandar, meaning to wrap or coat in bread
NATIONAL ALL IS OURS DAY. Observed each year on April 8th, National All Is Ours Day takes us along three views of appreciation. Celebrate each of the approaches to the day or pick the one that best suits you. The first approach to the day can be looked at as a time to reflect on all of the beauty of nature and all the wonderful things in life. The second way to celebrate the day is by appreciating everything we have. A third way to view the day is by sharing all that we have.
For part if the country (including here in Wisconsin) it’s SOLAR ECLIPSE DAY too. We’re not having the total eclipse here, but they say it will be around 87%. They were predicting mostly cloudy skies, but now they are saying we can expect some clearing and maybe at peak (at 2:06) we’ll only be partly cloudy. Maybe we’ll get to see something of the eclipse.
As I have explored things on my new TV, I’m figuring out what is what. My manual gives only very minimal information. I discovered now that tubi and Roku have lots of good classic comedies and stuff. I’m looking forward to watching Ozzie and Harriet from season one through the last ones (I like the early shows best before the kids grow up), and Jack Benny and The Real McCoys and all sorts of stuff. Now that I understand a little more about the workings of this TV, I don’t really mind that the old TV died. I’m going to have fun with the new one!
Don’t listen to Chesney, lady. He’s just lying to make Annie look bad. She right in calling Annie sweet, by the way. On another note, saw five chickadees, a spotted towhee, and two rabbits while out walking today.
Hm. If we lived in a world in which cats could talk, would they be considered a reliable source of information? Or would it be per character, as people are?
