In “Terminator-Rise of the Machines” Ah-nold says ‘I AM a machine!’ when his “good” programming gets overwritten by “bad”. Sentient machines, if and when they emerge, may not find the primates who created them worth hanging around with.

Someday maybe we will have cars that will protect us when we fall asleep, then AI won’t be such a bad thing,

This is when you need a self-driving car. :D

Back in the 1941, one of the authors (John R. Neill, I think) of the Wizard of Oz book series wrote “The Scalawagons of Oz,” which included sentient semi-autonomous vehicles that did all the driving for you. I’ve wanted one ever since I read that book back in the 60s.

I’d like to know what is good about (self)driving vehicle in the WRONG LANE???

Someday AI will replace HI if we keep up with our self destruction mode.
