This is so adorable! And so true!
‘The good old days weren’t all that good. Tomorrow isn’t as bad as it seems." Billy Joel

I like how there’s a nightlight glowing by the door.
Every day is somebody’s best day of their life
To dogs, every today is “The best day EVER!”
I think what Bonida is trying to convey is that every generation has its own set of pros and cons. It’s not as black and white as people make it out to be.
The funny part is that they’re suppose to be doing their homework and studying for the finals instead of reading comics!
I do remember as a kid, being fully aware that those carefree days were limited and adulthood was rapidly approaching, and not liking the thought.
I remember the maple tree fort.
The key is to keep having them throughout your life!
And tomorrow we might not be together
I’m no prophet and I don’t know nature’s ways
So I’ll try and see into your eyes right now
And stay right here ’cause these are the good old days
(These are the good old days)
One day about twenty-five years from now,
When we’ve all grown old from a-wondering how,
Oh we’ll all sit down at the city dump,
And talk about the Goodle Days.
