As a middle school teacher of 32 years, I never assigned weekend homework. As a mom I knew that if homework was given on a Friday, my own kids waited till Sunday night to “remember,” so only Monday thru Thursday were homework nights. It was the teacher who had weekend homework!

Isn’t homework for the kids? I don’t remember getting a lot of help when I was in school and certainly no help when I got to college.
