Libraries but a LOT of books and are a great way for new authors to get exposure. Libraries are the authors friend.

Well, they won’t learn the trick until AFTER they’ve bought it.

About a week after it was published. lol

Authors get royalties from book sales to libraries but it is typically smaller than those realized from sales to bookstores.

Her tip for the first page of her book should be:

 Sometimes you gotta spend money to save money. So buy this book!

The irony is that Alex is coasting on the advice that she exploited from Betty’s intellectual property. I can’t remember if Betty remembered or challenged her but she is slimy. I hope her home gets infested by something she got from a library book. I wouldn’t wish that on a real person. Their bites are like burn marks if you’re allergic.

Sure, if you only intend to read it once and want to read it on the schedule given by the library.

I’ve done that.

Another valuable tip is that if you want a variety of choice, buy books for a little more at independent book stores to keep them in business.
