Libraries but a LOT of books and are a great way for new authors to get exposure. Libraries are the authors friend.

Authors get royalties from book sales to libraries but it is typically smaller than those realized from sales to bookstores.

Another valuable tip is that if you want a variety of choice, buy books for a little more at independent book stores to keep them in business.
