when the toast is burned and the milk has turned and Capân Crunch is waving farewell, when the big one finds you may this song remind you that they donât serve breakfast in he!!from Breakfast by the Newsboys
Oh, no, weâve done lots of crunches, itâs just been so long weâve forgotten. And I think they called them something else back then⊠but⊠Iâve forgottenâŠ
I had some of that cereal once. It was so bad I did wan to eat anymore of but rather than waste it, decided to feed it to the ducks and geese at a local park. They wouldnât even eat it. So what does that tell you about that cereal?
No, no, you read the back of the box. Again⊠and again. When it first came out it had pages that opened on the back. Donât remember what the âbookâ was about. Just impressed to see it. No prize inside. Blast!
I was small when Capân Crunch debuted (born in 1961), but I never had any of it. My preference was for Post Crispy Critters, âthe one and only cereal that comes in the shape of animals.â Anyone remember their spokes cat, Linus the Lionhearted?
The last kidsâ cereal I had as an adult was Lucky Charms. I ate one box of it and havenât eaten any since. Itâs too sweet and fattening.

Funny â and clever â how advertisers give cereals appealing comic âpersonalities.â

I preferred Quisp.

I preferred the version with âcrunch berriesâ. Now my go-to cereal is Grape Nuts and I have goat kefir with it.
