It’s not just the carpet that’s ruined when the room is flooded.

Roscoe has a dog house with carpeting? Who puts carpet in a doghouse?

Depending on the amount of carpet they should consider filing an insurance. They may even get a mold remediation claim and major renovations.

Looks like Roscoe will be having company.

Opal’s treating Earl like he’s her little kid as usual, getting scolded for something he did that she doesn’t like. Well get real Opal he’s an adult and it’s his carpet too.

The drywall will have to be removed up to the height the water reached plus a few inches more. Well, if this wasn’t a cartoon it would.

When my daughter’s Jack Russell damaged my carpet so badly – he ripped it to shreds – I had to recarpet my entire home. I told her that I was planning on getting new carpet anyway, since I knew she didn’t have the money for it. Opal’s dismissal of wanting new carpet anyway seems like a similar response. Not happy about it, but not going to play the blame game. Stuff happens.

Earl will never win an argument.

Either way Earl, it’s going to cost you money to fix things.
