You’ll just have to fend for your shelves.

Perhaps they can find a place for you in the archives.

Abracadabra, they don’t take cadavers.

They could use your skin to cover books. You have to sign a binding contract.

There’s no room on the shelves.

Sure you can — crime fiction research division.

Spine is bent. Face is scuffed. Footnotes out of line. And don’t even dare looking up anything in the index.

Maybe your reading glasses.

The books smell old and musty enough as it is.

Darn! I would have!

Kind of a weak chuckle for today’s strip. Puzzling.

Cheater! This toon is a re-run. Good thing it is clever.

Why not? They can read you like a book.

But you can leave your library to libraries.

They’d file me under 767 – Etching & drypoint.

However, they will take your money……

It’s mostly the smell right ??? ;-)
