Isn’t Superman as fast as the flash? I mean, at some point, more speed shouldn’t matter. Also, shouldn’t they each be spending Every Waking Minute eating, to get enough energy to power their powers?

The Flash is faster, can time travel and walk through walls. Really all he needs to do is run and find some green kryptonite.Superman just needs to make The Flash stop moving long enough to land one powerful hit. Usually done by tripping The Flash.
what if he ran around the world collecting all the green kryptonite on Earth and bringing it back and stacking it around Supes? Being a scientist, Barry might know where all the worlds samples are kept.
The Flash has already commented on who is really the fastest. He is. He was holding back when running with Superman because it was usually for charity. The Flash IS The Fastest Man Alive!
I forget the name of the comic with their own version of superheroes, they did it very well and each superhero had problems because of the superpowers (all were artificial created by their uniforms) the one with super strength would also become more dense with the problems that brought, the one who had superspeed also aged equally when speeding.

In a race they are pretty even. Both went through time with their speed. Flash doesn’t have the muscle power to hit back.
