In Comic Strip Perspective the worm can only exit in one direction and there is no third dimension. One brilliant B.C. cartoon had the Dooky Bird’s beak catch on the crescent moon as John the Turtle walks screen right; they are all on the same plane. Dooky Bird is left hanging and says “I’m glad that the spirit of surrealism is still in the comics.”
