a third of the poeple you would ask didnât know, and another third were wrong. I would always ask multiple people until i got the same instrructions twice.
I got asked once. It was just after starting school in a new state. I had no car and had never driven in that state. Someone asked where âMâ was. I was completely confused, and managed to answer âbetween L and N?â. They thanked me and left. I later found out that in that state, county roads had letters instead of numbers. I have no idea where I sent those poor folks.
Being that Iâm tall, occasionally a stranger will ask my help to get something off a high shelf in the supermarket. Glad they havenât invented an app for that yet.

Nowadays, can you really trust anyone to give you honest directions without setting you up?
