Ramirez is again implying that inflation is because of ’Biden’s policies’, which he cannot identify.
Ramirez subscribes to the MAGAt determination to deny that market concentration exists and claim that, even if it does, it has NO effect whatsoever on prices.
Sometimes, Ramirez can be reasonable in what he presents. At other times, like this one, he becomes a shill for a tired, broken, incorrect conservative trope.
The Trump Collection has always been for sale – everything from his bibles and sneakers all the way up to government secrets and his presidential influence.
While employers squeeze workers and their unions for cuts to health care and other benefits, the CEOs of major corporations now make nearly 400 times more than their average employees, the largest employer-worker gap in our history. While 60 percent of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck– with three multi-billionaires owning more wealth than the bottom half.
If you are wondering why we continue to pay, by far, the highest prices in the world for prescription drugs, you should know that Pfizer has increased its profits by 42 percent so far this year to $26.4 billion.
Gasoline? Profits of Exxon Mobil, Chevron, BP and Shell skyrocketed by 169 percent so far this year to $125 billion. They are spending over $73 billion not to reduce gas prices at the pump but to buy back their own stock and increase dividends to their wealthy stockholders.
Groceries? Global food prices skyrocketed by over 33 percent last year and are expected to go up another 23 percent this year. Billionaires in the global food and agri-business industry became $382 billion richer during the pandemic.
Covid actually did cause problems that could be used as an excuse to raise prices. Once those prices were raised, they aren’t coming down unless people stop buying and there is a glut of product that has to be addressed by lowing them. Since people are going to buy groceries, meds and gas as long as they possibly can, the rich will get richer while the middle class gives up everything but these necessities.
Most of the “Bidenomics” ilk are either deliberately ignorant or actually ignorant (having missed supply and demand day in sixth grade social studies).
And the fact that a lot of companies that raised prices because they could, are now finding that people aren’t buying their stuff or as much of it and have started to lower their prices.

Ramirez has returned to his lying ways. Apparently he has figured out that fearmongering and lies get better ratings than truth!

The causes of inflation are obvious to anyone looking. The Working Class simply has too much money.
(And the rich don’t have enough.)

Good news. The Florida judge on President Trump’s document case has put the trial on indefinite delay.
The Georgia Court has accepted President Trumps appeal to consider dismissing Fani Willis from the trial.
Seems like all these cases against Trump are falling apart.
