Before falling asleep Brutus even had time to put the pencil to his ear.

Force majeure

Sounds like business as usual, huh chief?

Was Newton in Congress? Parliament?? How did he get that law made?

This is sure going to be a rude awakening.

I am a peon, my life was hands on. At one time I worked in a small factory and a office worker died…they asked me to replace that guy and answer phones…lasted 8 hours!

Brutus is doing his Dagwood Bumstead impression.

Brutus will know the power of the dark side, finally.

To be more accurate the first law of motion states that an object at rest stays at rest – unless acted on by an “OUTSIDE” force.

This means that when Brutus is fast asleep at his desk, Brutus can “NEVER” wake himself up to get back to work! He needs a boss to do that for him.

the empty desk isn’t helping Brutus’ case…

And Friday the thirteenth is on a Monday this month…. there goes your week, Brutus.

This doesn’t bode well for our hero.

Wow, Bossman is a Newtonian. I never thought him that smart. We’re about to witness Brutus’ level of resilience.

When hasn’t he been forceful?

Go for it Issac. However, just remember that Brutus is an irresistible force (that we all love) that is immovable. Something that Newton never contemplated. He may just be that black hole that will suck you into his universe. Tread lightly Boss…..

Is Boss V gonna flash Brutus with that flashy Yellow vest? My eyes hurt.

Oh no. I guess yesterday‘s nap wasn’t enough for him. Looks like it’s going to be two rude awakenings in a row for our hero.

Now now Boss, that’s your think tank. He’s thinking about better ways to run the business.

How prophetic of me, Boss man’s doing the nagging. But it was an easy call to make.

Too bad that Brutus doesn’t behave according to the rest of Newton’s First Law: He won’t remain in motion after Rancid applies force.

I wonder if Rancid will employ the slam a big book on the desk method or the elbow in the back method?

Being my own boss, and having an office, I find it advantageous to study the back of my eyelids once and awhile.

If he’s going to apply force, I hope he’s wearing his combat boots…with the steel tips!

If Brutus tried to take a nap in his car, the car would be towed. He can’t get a break! Or a nap.
