I was with someone who finished ordering then went back to correct what was wrong on the first thing, because it’s rude to interrupt when someone’s talking. She’d rather complain that there’s cheese on her burger when she clearly said no cheese.
You will never know the kind of pressure a waitperson is under. Sure, it could be a slacker goofing off or they could have just finished with two busloads of tourists who pulled in unannounced.
