Nice … ? Exactly 100 legs! … except that … although the name “Centipede” means “100 legs” (= 50 pairs of legs), no real one has exactly that many. Most have quite a few less. Centipedes always have an odd number of pairs of legs – ranging between 15 and 191 pairs.

My wife refers to them as “1000 leggers”…but I would guess that to be a millipede?

lol i just (painstakingly) counted all the legs on the centipede and it is actually 100 legs. good job paul
